Three cousins fall prey to rivalry

SARGODHA, Aug 11: Three members of Bhatti clan were shot dead while a fourth man injured by their rival Sahi clan in Chak 47 NB on Wednesday night. Cantonment police said Qamar Shabbir, Babar Shabbir and Shoaib Ahmad, all three cousin, were sitting at their dera along with Javed when some car rider opened fire on them. Qamar, Babar and Shoaib died on the spot while Javed sustained bullet injuries. He was admitted to hospital.

It is learnt that Bhatti and Sahi clans have a business rivalry as both are transporters spanning over almost a decade. Around 20 members of both the groups have so far fallen prey to the feud.

Though police have registered a case, they avoided to disclose the name of the accused.
