Call to protect minorities rights

ISLAMABAD, Aug 11: All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (Apma) Chairman Shahbaz Bhatti has said the policy speech of Quaid-i- Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah to the first constituent assembly should be made an integral part of the constitution.

Talking to reporters on Thursday, the Apma chairman said all discriminatory laws, articles and sections, which violated the policy speech of August 11, 1947, should be abolished immediately.

He said the role on minorities in the establishment of Pakistan should be recognized.
