KARACHI: Girl, teacher die in accident

KARACHI, Aug 11: A four-year-old girl and her teacher were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Korangi. Hafiz Mohammad Abdullah, 25, a teacher, was going on his motorcycle with three children when a speeding bus hit them in Korangi. Hafiz Abdullah and Javaria, 4, died on the spot while Aziza, 5, and Zubaida, 11, received injuries

Enraged people of the area set the killer bus of route 17-H on fire and pelted vehicles with stones which disrupted traffic for two hours.

Police said Aziza and Zubaida were sisters and daughter of Mohammad Saeed and cousins of Javaria.

The victims were taken to JPMC where Javaria and Abdullah were pronounced dead on arrival.

MURDERS: A housewife was killed by unknown persons in Mehmoodabad. Police said unknown persons barged into a house in Allama Iqbal Colony. They killed the woman, Rizwana, 32, by strangulation, when she was alone in the house at the time.

Police said the suspects also took away gold ornaments and other valuables from the house.

The victim was a mother of three.

In Site, a young man was reportely killed by his associate on Thursday.

Police said Sanumzada, 30, was shot dead by his friend Shujauddin in a garments factory.
