1,500 NBP employees regularized

SAHIWAL, Aug 10: The National Bank of Pakistan management has regularized the services of 1,500 temporary employees. This was said by Punjab NBP Employees Union Secretary-General Akbar Ali Khan here on Tuesday night on the eve of 16th Hajj balloting at the district council hall.

He said NBP President Ali Raza had also approved increase in house building and medical allowances.

Later, three lucky names were picked up from the ballot box. They are Arshad, Nazir Ahmed and Muhammad Shafiq.

Reports said the NBP union would meet the Hajj expenditure of two employees while expenses of the third would be borne by Federal Minister Chaudhry Naurez Shakoor Khan and Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Rana Aftab Ahmed Khan.
