LAHORE, Aug 10: Pakistan Railways staff caught 1,940 ticketless travellers during June this year, claims a press release of the department. The department collected Rs722,000 as fare and another Rs100,000 as fine from those passengers.Similarly, during July, the railways staff checked 30,000 passengers and charged them over Rs1.1 million as fare and fine.
This, the PR claims, is a record collection in two months.
