KARACHI, Aug 10: A young motorcyclist died in a road accident in Lyari on Wednesday. Police said that Shahzad, 23, was on his motorcycle when a speeding vehicle knocked him down on Mirza Adam Khan Road. The victim died on the spot. The errant driver of the vehicle escaped from the spot. Police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
DROWNING: A 16-year-old boy drowned at Sandspit on Wednesday.
In charge of the Emergency Response Centre (ERC) Zafar Khan said Sajjad, 16, a resident of Grax village went to the beach with some friends. While taking a dip in the sea, he was swept away by strong waves.
