Seniors cricket

LAHORE, Aug 9: Eighty-two teams of 11 regions will compete in the national Inter-district seniors cricket tournament starting from Sept 5. Ten teams, divided into two groups will feature in the Quetta Region. In all, 12 teams also divided into two pools are placed in Hyderabad region.

The Karachi Region has seven teams while Peshawar five. The newly formed Abbotabad Region has 11 teams followed by Multan 12 teams, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Rawalpindi five each, Lahore six and Islamabad four. All matches are of two days.
