KARACHI: Rs50m hospital project launched


KARACHI, Aug 8: The provincial minister for Planning and Development, Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari, on Monday laid the foundation stone of an additional 100-bed project at the Sindh Government Hospital, Saudabad, Malir Town.

The project will cost Rs50 million and envisage the construction of an OPD and administration blocks, emergency, operation theatre, generator room, garage, X-ray, laboratory and a blood bank.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that expansion of this hospital was included in the agenda of the Muttahida.

“We want to upgrade this hospital to an extent that people living around Malir, Gadap and Landhi towns and the adjoining villages may not have to go to the Jinnah or Civil hospitals”.—APP
