DADU, Aug 6: A complete shutter-down strike was observed in the Sita Road town on Thursday to protest against 18-hour power breakdown. Main markets and business centres remained closed. Hundreds of people staged a demonstration. Latif Arain, Ghulam Sarwar Janwari and Manzoor Ahmed led the protesters.

Protesters said Hesco officials were creating artificial faults for long duration loadshedding.

They appealed to the Wapda chairman and the federal minister for water and power to take notice of the matter.
