KARACHI, Aug 5: The high professional standard has made the army stronger to defend the homeland against any aggression. This was stated by the DG Housing, Pakistan Army, Maj-Gen Zahid Hussain Khan, here on Friday. He was speaking as chief guest at the passing-out parade of the 26th batch of recruits at the Army Air Defence Centre, Malir Cantonment, says a press release of the ISPR.
He called upon the passed-out recruits to realize their responsibilities and enhance their professional skills which they had acquired during the training. He asked them to work hard with a focused professional approach to meet the challenges of future battle field.
He gave awards to the recruits, who exhibited their outstanding performance during the training.
DMT Qasim Ali and DMT Nasir Hameed both received General Officer Commanding Air Defence Division medals and OPM M. Irfan Ali got Air Defence Directorate Medal while OPM Farhanullah Khan achieved the Colonel-in-Chief Cane.
Earlier, Maj-Gen Zahid took the salute of the march past of the passing-out recruits.—APP
