SA academy team due on Monday

LAHORE, Aug 4: Led by Francois Du Plessis the 15-member South African Cricket Academy team will arrive in Karachi on Monday. The team will play two Four-day and three One-day matches against Pakistan Academy team.

The first Four-day match will be held in Karachi from Aug 11. Dave Nosworthy is accompanying the team as coach and manager. Yashin Ebrahim Hasan is the assistant manager while Brandon Jackson is physiotherapist. The Pakistan Academy team is likely to be announced on Friday. Currently 27 players are attending the training camp at the National Cricket Academy.

South African Academy squad: Francois Du Plessis (captain), B Adams, R Canning, J Coetzee, J P Duminy, U Govender, M Morkel, Nkuna, M Olivier, A Phangiso, V Philander, K Smit, Tshabalala, V van Jaarsveld, M Williamson. Manager/coach: Dave Nosworthy. Assistant manager: Yashin Ebrahim Hasan. Physiotherapist: Brandon Jackson.
