ISLAMABAD, Aug 4: The construction work on the Liaquat Bagh Squash Complex, which were hit by floods in 2001, has abruptly been stopped by EDO Rawalpindi Ajmal Shah, says a Press release of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF).

“This unauthorised interruption has caused a lot of embarrassment at the federation level and among the squash lovers,” the release said. “If the matter is not settled...it will be a great loss to the federation and to the players of Rawalpindi.”

Only recently, the senior vice president of PSF, Air Marshal Raashid Kaleem had performed the earth-breaking of the complex for which the Prime Minister had approved funds of Rs 10 million.
