CBR transfers 14 senior officials

ISLAMABAD, Aug 4: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has transferred and posted 14 senior officials of customs, sales tax and federal excise group. According to the notifications, Hassan Raza Jafari has been transferred and posted as additional collector, D.R. Bench-III, collectorate of customs (Preventive), Karachi; Manzoor Hussain Memon, additional collector, D.R. Bench-I, collectorate of customs (Appraisement), Karachi; Zafar Akhtar, additional collector, D.R. Bench-II, sales tax house, Karachi; Ms. Shah Bano G.M Khan, additional director, Dte. Gen. of Training and Research (customs, ST & FE), Karachi and Ms. Zeba Hai Azhar, additional collector/ D.R. collectorate of sales tax and federal excise, Lahore.

Similarly, Khalid Mehmood-III has been posted as additional collector/D.R, Bench-I, collectorate of customs, Lahore; Tauseef Ahmad Qureshi, additional collector, collectorate of customs, Lahore and Dr Ejaz Naeem Qureshi has been posted as collectorate of sales tax and federal excise, Rawalpindi. However, he will also hold the additional charge of the post of D.R. Bench-II, Islamabad.

Likewise, Tariq Ahad Nawaz has been posted as additional collector, Dte. Gen. of Training and Research (customs, sales tax and federal excise), Islamabad, but will also hold the additional charge of the post of D.R. Bench-I, Islamabad.

Through another notification, Saadullah Khan has been posted as commissioner of income tax (CIT), Appeals-II, Lahore; Javed Athar, CIT, Sahiwar Zone, Central Region, Multan and Sajjad Ahmad has been posted as additional commissioner of income tax, companies zone-II, corporate region, Karachi.

According to another notification, Khalil Ibrahim Yousfani has been transferred and posted as deputy collector, model customs collectorate, Karachi and Mohammad Shoaib Qazi, assistant collector, collectorate of customs (Preventive), Karachi.
