India-Pakistan bridge series cancelled
KARACHI, Aug 3: The historic bridge series between Pakistan and India scheduled to be held in India has been cancelled, Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF) announced on Wednesday. “All the arrangements had been completed to send the team on Aug 5, but Bridge Federation of India (BFI) regretted to cancel the series citing some unavoidable circumstances,” said PBF secretary Ashfaq Tola in a statement adding that the bridge fraternity was disappointed at the cancellation of the series.—APP
