Following the information, DSP (headquarters) Syed Zahid Husain, Muridke DSP Ghazi Salahuddin and others reached the spot and besieged the area. During the shootout, the police arrested 12 outlaws and recovered weapons and vehicles from them. IGP Ziaul Hassan also reached the spot and announced cash award and commendation certificates for the team.
