SIALKOT, Aug 2: Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) Central President Dr Shehla Javaid Akram has said that women entrepreneurs are playing their pivotal role in strengthening the economy by accelerating the pace of trade activities.

She was talking to the press here on Tuesday at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

Stating that the WCCI has more than 500 members in the country, she said the chamber was making all-out efforts for an early solution to problems of women entrepreneurs.

Dr Shehla urged the government to announce a special package of incentives for women for their maximum participation in trade activities in the country.

Earlier, the WCCI president discussed matters of mutual interests with the Sialkot business community.
