Guideline for epidemics control

PESHAWAR, Aug 2: The National Institute of Health has issued guidelines for doctors on management of epidemics in the monsoon season. A four-page booklet has been issued to the health departments of provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and federal capital Islamabad to enable doctors to inform people about preventive measures of epidemics which are likely to hit the people in monsoon season.

Titled as Seasonal Awareness and Alert Letter and prepared in the light of statistics provided by the Health Management and Information System, the booklet has been circulated among executive district officers health in the country to enable them to cope with epidemics and check their spread.
