Sara tops seedings

ISLAMABAD, July 31: Sara Mahboob has been given top seeding for the inaugural PTF National women’s ranking tournament starting on Monday. Twenty players among them second seed Nida Rahim and No 3 seed Maira Rahim, have agreed to compete in the tournament that will be held at the PTF Complex.

The draws for the singles event were decided at the tournament venue on Sunday by the organisers.

For the first time there will a ladies’ doubles event besides the singles and under-17 competitions.

The tournament will serve basis for selection of Pakistan team for this September’s Islamic Women’s Games in Tehran.
