KARACHI, July 30: Eight ships carrying tallow and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Wan Hai-266, Jade Trader, Sagamore, Maersk Alaska to unload and load containers, Keefan to offload high speed diesel and Lady Juliet to unload and load general cargo were berthed after the departure of two.

The ships, which departed included Eax Sanctity and Maersk Aalska, while Wan Hai-266, Sagamore, Lady Juliet, Wester Muehlen, Jade Trader, Dina Queeen, Keefan Regine and Dan Yang are due to sail out on Sunday.

Owing to larger handling of dry cargo, the total tonnage further rose to 0.138m tons comprising 12,255 tons of export cargo including 1,362 tons of cement and 0.126m tons of import tonnage, which also included 65,395 tons of dry cargo.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Nolowati, with chemicals, Adhidaya, with 6,500 tons of tallow, Iran Zanjan, Harmony, Bunga Kenari, with containers, Shun-E-11, with steel pipes, Mariam-VI, and Precious, with project cargo. The following vessels are due on Monday: Oriental Kerria, with base oil, Eships Bainunah, with tallow, Monoksilion and Yang Jiang He, with containers and Gokcan, with 32,918 tons of urea.
