LAHORE, July 29: Leaders of the PPP central executive committee and the federal council are due to meet at Bilawal House, Karachi, on Saturday (today) to discuss the political situation and the local elections.

Makhdoom Amin Fahim will preside over the meeting.

On Sunday, heads of the ARD parties are meeting in Islamabad mainly to discuss preparations for local elections and the way the government is trying to rig them.
