KARACHI, July 28: A man killed his estranged wife, a lady doctor, and a dispenser in Landhi on Thursday morning. Dr Sana Zubaida, 30, wife of Sahib Khan, advocate, had filed a case for Khula some three months back. Sahib Khan had married Sana 11 months back.
The police said since the filing a case for separation, Saba moved to her parent’s home in Moinabad.
Police said as the lady doctor was heading towards her clinic with her dispenser, Sabir Khan, the two were attacked by Sahib Khan near Awami Markaz.
The wounded were taken to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
KILLED: A man was shot dead and a girl was wounded when a security guard shot at them in the parking lot of a club late Wednesday night in DHA.
Police said Ghulam Mehdi, 30, was sitting in his car (AGT-110) with a girl in the parking lot of ‘Area-51’ DHA.
Police said the security guard objected to their presence. As Ghulam Mehdi exchanged hot words with the guard, he opened fire on them.
Police said Ghulam died on the spot while the girl suffered a bullet wound in her hand.
Mehdi’s body was handed to his relatives following postmortem. Police said the security guard fled after the shooting.
ARRESTED: The police on Thursday arrested a suspect while his associate managed to flee after a shootout in Korangi.
Police said two suspects snatched a motorcycle (KBF-7167) in Darul Salam Society. Police officials at a picket tried to intercept suspects, but they opened fire at the police wounding the police constable, Sarfaraz.
