Britain revokes visa for Kenyan minister


NAIROBI, July 28: Britain has banned one of Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki’s closest allies from entering the country, citing immigration laws that block the arrival of individuals accused of corruption. The British High Commission in Nairobi has written to airlines flying to London, instructing them not to carry Kenyan Transport Minister Chris Murungaru because his British visa has been revoked, an embassy official said on Thursday.—Reuters
