KARACHI, July 28: Seven vessels carrying steel cargo, containers and high-speed diesel are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where six ships, Hyunai Futures, Y.M. Star, Kota Wijaya, Thor Captain, Maersk Vilnious, to unload and load containers, and Suez Express, to unload steel and to load general cargo were berthed.

Four ships, Pu He, APL Dalian, Multan and Citius departed on Thursday, while San Antonlo, Rickmers Mumbai,Kota Wijaya, Y.M. Star, Kota Teguh, Beaufort Wind, APL Orchid, Maersk Vilnius, Manila Bay and Suez Express are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity was maintained on the higher side where the total tonnage of 0.108m tons comprising 15,035 tons of export cargo, including 606 tons of cement and 92,991 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Keefan, with 50,000 tons of high-speed diesel, Wan Hai-266, Harmony, Jade Trader, Maersk Alaska, and Sagamore, with containers and Lady Juliet, with 6,900 tons of steel cargo.
