KARACHI, July 27: Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has chalked out programme to create new facilities of the game besides upgrading the existing one in urban and rural Sindh. “PSF has embarked on a rupees 15 million project which envisages construction of a championship court besides renovating four including one for practice, at the city’s National Sports Training and Coaching Centre (NSTCC),” secretary of the PSF, Wing Cdr Zulfiqar Ahmad, told Dawn on Wednesday.
He informed that the completion time of the project was eleven months. According to him, the championship court will have a seating capacity for 150 to 200 persons.
Renovation of existing facilities in Sukkur, Jamshoro, Civil Aviation training institute, Hyderabad, and Daharki were also in the pipeline.
