Two killed over karo-kari

SHIKARPUR, July 25: A man and a woman were killed on pretext of karo-kari in Abdul Rehman Shar village, Garhi Yasin taluka, on Sunday evening. One Mubarak Shar attempted to kill his sister-in-law Ms Ajeeban, wife of his brother Nazro Shar and his relative Aijaz Shar, when he saw them in a compromising position near the village. But both of them escaped. The accused followed them and shot dead Ms Ajeeban in her father’s house where she was hiding. Aijaz Shar made his escape good and went to the fields where Barkat alias Dhani Bux Shar, the son of Mubarak Shar was working.
