KHAIRPUR, July 25: The Abdul Rehman Unnar police have booked 35 people for protesting against police and blocking roads on Sunday. The protesters were booked under section 341, 147, 48, 49 of the PPC for blocking road and raising slogans against police. Faisal Shah, Ayaz Shah, Liaquat Shah, Sajjad Shaikh, Saleem, Iqbal, Jabbar, Nazeer, Basheer Dayo and others were nominated in the FIR.

Residents of the Union Council of Saddar Joon Bhatiyoon took out a procession on Sunday against highhandedness of the Abdul Rehman Unnar police and blocked the main road of the town. They had also observed a shutter-down strike in the town.

BOOKED: Two employees of the General Post Office, Khairpur, and one private person were booked under section C-489/34, B-489/409 of the PPC at the A-section police station.
