HYDERABAD: Peasant demands recovery of wife

HYDERABAD, July 25: A peasant has appealed to government functionaries and police authorities to find his kidnapped wife, Saiyan. He said he had lodged an FIR at the Chambar police station. Speaking at a press conference at the press club here on Monday, Sharif Leghari, a resident of the Masoo Bozdar village, accompanied by his uncle, Ali Nawaz, and Bashir, alleged that the accused, Aslam Bozdar, an Awam Dost Panel candidate for the seat of nazim of the Dad Khan Jarwar Union Council, and Ahmad Khan Bozdar, had forced his wife to give a statement against him.

Mr Leghari said he had heard that his wife had described him as insane. He alleged that the accused were threatening him with dire consequences. He appealed for justice and protection and recovery of his wife from the captivity of the accused.

Answering a question that his wife had described the FIR false, he said she was being forced to give such statements.
