Trade policy


ISLAMABAD, July 25: The government is paying a special emphasis on the promotion of the SME sector that plays a pivotal role in strengthening the economy.

“The new trade policy also envisages a number of steps for the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which will contribute a lot to achieve the export target of $17 billion for the fiscal year 2005-06,” Commerce Secretary Tasneem Noorani told APP here on Monday.
