Easy victory for Karachi

QUETTA, July 24: Taking advantage of wayward bowling, Karachi cantered to a seven-wicket victory over Lahore in the first women’s triangular cricket series at the Bugti Stadium on Sunday.

Chasing a target of 120, Karachi were aided by as many as 43 extras.

Batting first in the fifth match of the series, Lahore were restricted to 119 for six in their 25 overs.

Shumaila remained unbeaten with 27 while Razia Malik made 24.

Fehmida Bano was most successful bowler with two for 12 in five overs.
