Mirani dam


ISLAMABAD, July 24: Sixty per cent work on the Mirani dam in Balochistan has been completed and the project is likely to be finalized by July 2006. The Mirani dam project, which was started in July 2002, would cost Rs4 billion, a PTV report said on Sunday.

The length of the dam is 3,100 feet and the width is 500 feet with a capacity of 52,000 acre-feet water. —APP
