Army, KRL prevail
RAWALPINDI, July 22: Army overpowered PTCL 2-0 while KRL prevailed over KESC 1-0 goal in the two matches of the National Football Challenge Cup on Friday. In the clash at Army Stadium in Rawalpindi, Muhammad Imran Mani struck in the 11th minute and Abid netted in the 69th minute for the soldiers against PTCL.
Army missed four corners and PTCL three in the otherwise thrilling encounter.
At Faisalabad, Ayaz Khan snatchedd up the all-important goal for KRL in the 21st minute of thematch against KESC.
Earlier on Thursday, Navy downed Police 1-0.
Busharat scored the decisive goal of the play in 74th minute of the play.
