SANGHAR, July 22: Two people were killed and five others injured in a dispute over sharing water in Shahdad Bugti village near Perumal on Friday. Those killed were identified as Jangi Khan Bugti and his nephew Gul Nawaz Bugti. Jangi Bugti was sitting in his Otaq when his nephew Gul Nawaz along with his brothers allegedly attacked and killed him on the spot.

Jangi’s relatives retaliated and killed Gul Nawaz and injured Shahnawaz, Mohammad Umer, Mir Nawaz, Gaji Bux and Deedar Bux.

Shahnawaz and Umer were admitted to the People’s Medical College Hospital due to precarious condition while others were admitted to the Sanghar civil hospital. The Perumal police registered counter cases.

PML-F: Leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) have denied allegations of kidnapping of candidates levelled by the PPP.

Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, MPA Ansar Adil Hingoro and former Khipro Taluka Nazim Khuda Bux Dars said the PPP could not find candidates in Khipro so that they were looking for excuses to boycott the elections.

They said the PML-F had a thumping majority in Khipro and there was no need to harass candidates from any party.
