KARACHI, July 21: Promising off-spinner Talha Azeem produced excellent figures of seven for 11 to help Zone-IV Whites reach the semifinals in the KCCA Under-15 Inter-zonal Cricket Championship with an overwhelming 141-run defeat of Zone-III Greens at Landhi Gymkhana Ground on Wednesday. Batting first, Zone-IV Whites made 192 in 50 overs and then bundled out Zone-III Greens for 51 in the 29th over.

Zone-IV this join Zone-II Whites, Zone-III Whites and Zone-VI Whites in the last-four stage of the competition.

Of-spinner Junaid Ilyas captured five for 16 as Zone-II Whites beat Zone-I Whites by seven wickets at the Students Sports Ground.

At Asifabad Sports Ground, Zone-III Whites outplayed Zone-I Blues also by a margin of seven wickets. Rameez Aziz hit a match-winning 69 with 11 boundaries.

In remaining quarterfinal, Zone-VI Whites beat Zone-VII Whites by 47 runs at the KCCA Stadium.

Zone-VI Whites beat Zone-VII Whites by 47 runs.
