Lahore beat Karachi

QUETTA, July 21: Lahore proved their supremacy when they defeated Karachi by 33 runs in the second match of the inaugural triangular regional women cricket series at the Bugti Stadium on Thursday. Batting first, Lahore reached 110 for seven in the stipulated 25 overs. Tasqeen Qadir was the leading batswoman with 37 off 62 deliveries.

In reply, Karachi were bowled out for 77, a total which was boosted by 23 extras. Arman Khan was the only batswoman to reach double figures with 15.

Sana Yousuf and Uzma Malik shared six between with figures of three for eight and three for 18, respectively.
