Published July 22, 2005

NEW YORK, July 21: People’s Party Parliamentarians leader Asif Ali Zardari is expected to undergo angiography at a local hospital to determine whether he has more blockages of arteries in his heart, according to informed sources. Mr Zardari, who had three stents placed in his heart in a Dubai hospital following a heart-attack, was experiencing excruciating pains on his left side and left arm, which was symptomatic of artery blockage, the sources said.

The sources here said that “if Mr. Zardari needs to stay in New York for a longer period then he will be joined by his wife Benazir Bhutto.”
