Police looking for rape accused

ISLAMABAD, July 21: The Rawalpindi police are looking for a man who allegedly raped his daughter and killed the child she gave birth to. Sub-Inspector Mirza Kifayat told Dawn that ‘Y’, the 20-year-old victim of rape, lodged a complaint against her father ‘NA’ with the R.A. Bazar police after seeking help from the ministry of women. She said the depraved father tortured her and her mother during her pregnancy, threatening her to abort the pregnancy. When the baby arrived, her father murdered the new-born to hide his crime, she alleged.

The accused rapist was said to be a security guard in a private company situated in Kahuta.

Meanwhile, two young girls have been kidnapped from different parts of Rawalpindi.
