ISLAMABAD, July 19: Pakistan and India will discuss an agreement for pre-notification of missile tests during their next round of talks on nuclear confidence building measures (CBM) starting on August 5 in New Delhi.

They will also take up issues regarding upgradation of the hotlines between the director generals of military operations (DGMO) and establishment of a dedicated and secure hotline between the foreign secretaries of the two countries during the parleys to be held on August 5-6, Foreign Office Spokesman Naeem Khan said Tuesday.

A meeting on conventional CBMs will be held on August 8;. Additional Secretary Foreign Office Tariq Osman Haider will lead the Pakistani delegation, the spokesman said.

The agreement of pre-notification of missiles test and Pakistan’s suggestions about nuclear restraint regimes would also come under discussion, he said.—APP
