KARACHI, July 19: Khalid Ali Nazar (65 points) and Adnan Khan (55) were ranked first and second in the men’s rankings released by the Sindh Tennis Association (STA) on Tuesday.

According to the ranking based on tournaments held during last six months (January-June 2005) Pakistan’s Davis Cupper Aqeel Khan was ranked fourth behind Yasir Khan who had secured 40 points.

The reason behind Aqeel’s low ranking was his non-availability to compete in the Sindh ranking tournaments due to his commitment with the international events.

He could only compete in Sindh Open and won it to take 30 points.

Yasir was ranked number one in under-17 in Sindh with 60 points. He was followed by Nasir Mushtaq (45 points).

Ghulam, Danish, M Abbas Raza, Jehangir Abbas and Abbas Arif shared the third slot with 20 points each.
