KARACHI, July 19: The University of Karachi on Tuesday declared the results of MBBS Final Prof annual examinations 2005. Tehreem Raza of the Sindh Medical College with seat no 28897 clinched first position. The second and third positions went to students of the Dow Medical College; Muhammad Furqan with seat no 28054 and Syed Raheel Sameeruddin with seat no 28117, respectively.
According to a KU notification, as many as 876 candidates appeared in the exams, and 694 were declared pass with a pass percentage of 79.22.
The results of 20 candidates were withheld for want of particulars, while that of one was withheld for alleged use of unfair means.
Physiotherapy exams: The University of Karachi on Tuesday announced that First Year BS Physiotherapy Annual Examinations 2004 would commence from July 26, adds PPI.
Theory exams would be held from July 26 to August 5 at the KU Chemistry Department whereas practical examinations would be held at the School of Physiotherapy from August 8 to 15. A total of 91 candidates are to take the exams.
