LAHORE, July 17: Exiled former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif may approach a court for an injunction that the government issue him and his wife Pakistani passports.
Sources close to him say that Mr Sharif would wait for a response from Pakistan’s consulate in Jeddah before resorting to other options.
“Enough is enough”, said the sources, indicating that now no member of the Sharif family would approach the consulate for passport. Instead, they said, they would wait for a response from the consulate.
They hoped that the courts would get the Sharifs what was their constitutional right.— Staff Reporter
