SAHIWAL, July 17: A co-accused in a Hudood case got released from central jail on fake court orders (Robkar), it was learnt on Sunday. Reports said a married woman, Nusrat, a resident of Farid Town, had allegedly eloped with her lover, Arshad, as she was married to Naseer against her will.
Arshad and Nusrat left for England on March 10, 1990, from where they returned to the country on Nov 27, 2004. Meanwhile, Naseer got registered a case under section 10 of Hudood/Zina Ordinance against the couple with Farid Town police, while one Akram was also booked by the police under the same law.
The police arrested Akram from Karachi and sent him to central jail, while the couple again left the country.
Akram’s father Ramzan, on March 13, 2005, with the help of one Muhammad Din Kaka of Lahore Cantt, allegedly prepared a fake ‘Robkar’ of the court of additional district and sessions judge and submitted it to the jail authorities, who released the accused.
Naseer reported the matter to the court which got the documents checked and the irregularity was confirmed.
On the orders of the court, the police registered a case against Akram, Ramzan and Muhammad Din.
According to reports, Akram has also proceeded to England after his escape from the jail.
Case registered: Ghaziabad police have registered a case pertaining to kidnap of two schoolgirls of Chak 147/9-L on the directions of the additional district and sessions judge after a lapse of two months.
Reports said on the night of May 16, seven armed men allegedly entered the house of one Aish Muhammad Jat, where his wife Kaneez Fatima was sleeping along with his two daughters Abida and Sajida, students of class nine and ten, respectively.
The intruders kidnapped the two sisters after locking the other family members in a room and fled away by two cars. Kaneez Fatima approached Ghazibad police for the registration of a case but the officials concerned refused to ‘oblige’ her.
The matter was brought to the court’s knowledge, which ordered the police to register the case. The police, accordingly, registered a case without making any arrest or recovering the girls.

On July 5, Talib Husain, along with 12 accomplices kidnapped Jaffar from Nama Sial village to stop the execution of a murder convict, Iqbal Bali. The kidnapper threatened the boy’s family that in case Iqbal Bali was hanged, he would kill Jaafar.
The family approached the court of district and sessions judge, which ordered the jail authorities to stop the execution to be carried out on July 6.
