Lankan court stays accord implementation

COLOMBO, July 16: Sri Lankan government has announced it will make a close study of the restraining order issued by the Supreme Court on the joint aid deal with the LTTE rebels.

A statement issued by the government spokesman Nimal Siripala De Silva said that the government would show its commitment to implement the post Tsunami Operational Management Structure during the trial, which will commence on Sept 12.
