KARACHI, Jul 15: Adviser to Sindh chief minister on health Faisal Malik has taken serious notice of reports about incidence of eye infections, hearing difficulty, dental and skin diseases among children of rural areas of the province. Talking to a delegation of the National Commission for Human Development at his office here Friday, the adviser observed that despite a wide range of health projects worth Rs 4 million, jointly initiated by NGOs, in collaboration with the former district governments in different districts, no meaningful change could be registered.
Faisal Malik, however, said the provincial government was fully conscious of its responsibilities towards the masses belonging to all parts of the province and is taking measures for their welfare.—APP
