Karate team to compete in Iran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will compete in West Asian Karate championship in Iran later this month and also plans a similar multi-national contest at home probably in December.

This was disclosed by former hockey Olympian Munir Dar, who is now also the President of Pakistan Karate Federation.

Munir Dar said five-six countries, including Iran, India and Kazakhastan were likely to take part in the proposed international karate competition to be held at home in December.—APP
