Inter-club hockey from tomorrow

KARACHI, July 14: As many as 30 teams will contest the inaugural Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) Inter-cub hockey tournament that will commence from Saturday at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP).

This was announced at a press conference on Thursday.

Hinopak will be sponsoring the tournament while KHA will be organising the event, which will be played on knockout basis.

All the matches will be played at the HCP and will be supervised by local and international umpires.

Players who are members of national senior and Junior teams or are a part of any departments, which are affiliated with Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) are ineligible to take part in the tournament.—PPI
