LARKANA, July 13: The Naudero police used batons and lobbed tear gas shells to disperse the protesters who had blocked the road and arrested four people on Wednesday. People hailing from ‘Ganhwar Bhatti’ village held a demonstration alleging that the police had lodged a fake FIR regarding the murder of Wazeer Shah. They blocked the Larkana-Sukkur road with the tree trunk and burnt tyres.

They alleged that the police had registered FIR wherein Khadim Kookari, the friend of the deceased, was shown as the main accused.

Police officials denying the Charges, maintained said that the relatives of the deceased had themselves lodged the FIR.

As soon as police began removing the hurdles from road the protestors pelted them with stones and went unruly.
