KARACHI: Traffic jams clarified

KARACHI, July 13: A spokesman for police department on Wednesday contradicted a news item appearing in press according to which traffic remained jammed for many hours on M.A. Jinnah Road and other adjoining roads during the VVIP movement on Tuesday. According to the spokesman, traffic coming from the opposite direction was not stopped at any time while making alternative arrangements for traffic on the route of VVIP movement so that no inconvenience is caused to people.—APP
