KARACHI, July 13: Habib Bank Ltd. has announced 0.1 per cent return on saving deposits up to Rs20,000 and one per cent return on deposits of more than Rs20,000 for the half year ended on June 30, 2005.

The bank has announced 0.75 per cent to 2.75 per cent return on special saving deposits of different slabs ranging from Rs3 million and above to Rs500 million and above for the period between January 1, 2005 and February 14, 2005.

For the period between February 15, 2005 and June 30, 2005, the bank has announced zero per cent to three per cent on daily actual deposits of different slabs ranging from Rs20,000 and Rs2 billion.

According to an HBL press release, the bank offered five per cent to 10 per cent return on term deposits of one year to 10 years under its scheme munafa plus deposit certificates for the period between March 1, 2005 and June 30, 2005.
