Mubashar and Nawaz best gymnasts
LAHORE, July 12: Iqbal Centre, Lahore with 20.90 points won first position in Punjab Open gymnastics championship (Senior) on Tuesday. dxMuslim Centre, Lahore bagged 20.40 points to earn the second position.
Nawaz Ijaz of Iqbal Centre and Mubashar Abbas of Muslim Centre were declared as joint best gymnasts of the competition. National Centre, Okara claimed third position.
Iqbal Centre also won the U-14 event. Usman Khalid and Mohsin Iqbal performed well for the winners.
In under-10, Ali Jamal helped Cardinal School, Gulberg Lahore win the event.
