ISLAMABAD, July 11: Pakistan on Monday condemned the attacks on Islamic centres and other religious places in New Zealand and Britain, apparently in the wake of last week’s bomb blasts in London. “The attacks on Islamic centres and religious places are most unfortunate and regrettable,” Foreign Office Spokesman Jalil Abbas Jilani said.
He was commenting on reports that at least six Islamic centres had been vandalized in New Zealand, besides incidents of apparent reprisal attacks on the religious places of Muslims and Sikh shrines in Britain.—APP
